Project Server Address

Hi All,
i dont know where else to ask because im quite new to project server. Dont really know where are the good sites to get help. Anyway i read some of the posts and i thought that you all might know the solution of the problem that im facing.

Actually my company configured a Project Server for this company. The person who configure everything left already, and i have no way of contacting him.

So the project server is running good, accessible from inside and outside of the network. The thing is, if you remote into the server(terminal service mode), and you put the external address on the address bar of IE, then the authentication box will appear asking for your username and password. If you use the external address, it wont get authenticated. Using the server name dont give any problem. This only happen in TS. if you use your browser regardless if you are inside or outside of the network, you can get authenticated. this only happen when you TS into the server.

i hope that you can help me by giving me some pointers as where should i check the problematic areas. i already check the DNS, everything resolves properly. the connection to the DC is also verified working.
