Default Email assignment updates

Hi,

We've just started using EPM and are trying to get to grips with it. We're finding that everytime someone goes into the plan and saves and publishes it to the server everyone who's assigned as a resource on the plan gets an email saying their assignment details have been changed, confirming all the activities assigned to them, even if their tasks have not been affected by the changes made in the plan. Is this normal? Is it possible to set it so that emails only go out to resources affected by the changes?

Many thanks

Lightbulb

yes you could,
find MSP_Alert_Definition table in published database.
and change no 12 Assignment Modified to 0.

so everytime resource save/publish project, member will not get email notification.

hope this helps.
