Default A few questions...

Dear techies and techesses of EPMFAQ...

There are a couple of things I’d like to request help about for MS Project
Server..

1. I’d like to assign different individuals as project managers on
different projects. In doing so, we’d like only the project manager for each
project to have the permission to upload/edit/modify the relevant project
plan. Can this be done?
2. For the project related tasks in Outlook, we’d like to have “Deadline”
field displayed as well. Can this be done?
3. Regarding the earlier email, in addition to having the default task
information to include the existing fields & task deadline, when users view
the entire project on PWA, is it possible for them to be able to see the same
columns that was used to upload the project information (including the Gantt
chart). I tried to set this up in the server settings, but it doesn’t appear
to have made any difference.
4. Finally, if a user accidently clicks a task as being complete and/or the
task reviewer mistakenly rejects the tasks, how can this information be
reentered by the user?

Thanks kindly for those who can help...

Richard

Depending on your security model and other requirements, this is possible.

I do not believe so.

Users should be able to view this by drilling down into the Project Center. You may have to enable the ActiveX Gantt Chart view for all users.

This information should be available in History section of the Assignment Details page, which is accessible from the My Tasks page.
