EPM Administrator needed to fill long term contract in Houston

Description of the work to be performed: Need a lead Microsoft EPM Administrator with experience in configuration and implementation of Microsoft Project Server for large enterprises. This resource will be familiar with the Microsoft EPM suite of tools and can interface well with user area and IT support staff. This role assumes the responsibility of technical aspects of implementation utilizing the configurable components offered in the software. • Can conceptualize the big picture and effectively manage the priorities of their work. • Able to guide Spectra in the best practices of EPM tool implementation. • Will be responsible for translating user requirements to fulfill the configuration needs of the Spectra EPM implementation. • Is familiar with best practices for managing code and environments in a SDLC model. • Is able to work with outside EPM consultants, but will report to the Spectra IT Project Manager. • Required Tools and/or Equipment • Primary skill set required is the demonstrated ability to configure various aspects of the Project Server implementation of delivered components, such as: security access to Project Server/Project Web Access, Data Analysis Views, OLAP cubes, PSIs, etc. • Is also able to extend delivered features in Project Server, such as OLAP cubes or customize reporting using SQL Reporting Services as needed by exception. • Versed in configuration of SharePoint and have developed templates in MOSS. • Is able to configure workflow in SharePoint. • Experienced in programming Web Services, Web Server and Windows Applications.
