Well, you can always transfer the data from the project into a new project and delete the old one. Sometimes "bad things" happen in Project Server and the best option is to delete and re-create a project.

Information on contacting PSS can be found here. I would recommend trying the recreation prior to calling since this is likely one of the first things they will have you do.
